Happy Valentine's Day guys!
While I totally believe that Valentine's Day is a totally bullshit holiday that really only still exists today so that people can make money, I admit, I did dress up a little bit for the occasion. My friends and I even had a little picnic at school so that everyone could be jealous of us and how really cool we are (we are more cool than photogenic, however). Hell, I even made a James Franco Valentine just for you lovely literate people. And if you didn't get any Valentines, you can totally lie to your friends and say that I was your Valentine. I won't mind.
The last time I had a real, live, breathing Valentine was in the seventh grade when I was twelve. We middle-school dated for three weeks. I gave him a book of Calvin & Hobbes comics and he gave me M&M's. I swooned. It was a simpler time.
But anyway, my room is officially finished! It is absolutely fabulous and humongous and beautiful. The walls are still pretty white, but I'll fix that as I get newer posters. The only thing I don't like is the fact that my Internet connection is absolutely horrible, which is one of the reasons why I didn't post for such a long time, but I'm getting used to it. Anyway, I took some pictures.
I already put up most of my lights, and my desk is so much bigger. I have more room to doodle and do homework and also put stuff like lollipops on it.
This lamp is wonderful and beautiful and magnificent and I totally stole it from my dad and just plopped it in my room. But can you blame me? I adore the pattern. And here's my trusty old chalkboard/Perks of Being A Wallflower tribute.
There is this really adorable window over my bed and when it gets to about 3 o'clock, the sun shines through it almost directly, and you can see all of the dust particles in the air. It is so so gorgeous and dreamy. I want to take a picture of it but it never turns out right. I'll keep trying. It reminds me so much of the Virgin Suicides aesthetic. My new room in all is just really fabulous.
Also can we talk about the Topshop opening at The Grove and the fact that I'm not there and Emma Roberts and Evan Peters were being adorable and I'm so sad? I love The Grove so much (and if you've ever had the gumbo there ((or really just eaten anything there)) then you'll know why)
and why can't I just live in L.A. already.
