Ethan, William, Kionna, and I went out after school and just waited around for a while. I managed to take some funny pictures of us. It's so nice having people to model for you.
I wore my infinity scarf two days in a row, and I don't even care, because it's blue and sparkly and it only cost $7 at H&M, and I love it, and I wish I had fifty scarves like that. Also we made weird faces in the car and, God, we're weird teenagers.
But aren't we fashionable? It was such a nice change of background to take an outfit picture anywhere outside of my bedroom. It just makes me feel so odd to take them in my room- like, hey, look at my clothes, please ignore the fact that I forgot to make my bed this morning.
I managed to get some shots that I really liked, though, which is pretty hard sometimes, because these kids are so restless. But it's a lot of fun. If we were That 70's Show, I get to be Jackie, because Mila Kunis, duh. When (er, if) I become a scriptwriter, I'm so going to make a cliché television show about our hilarious teenage shenanigans and such. I'd say we are a relatively photogenic gang. And I totally want Hailee Steinfeld to play me.
Later on Eric picked us up, and we got the best pizza and garlic bread ever from Little Caesar's. We had a picnic, and The Pyro started a bonfire on the barbecue grill, which was perfect, because it was freezing. And then after some more antics, I tried to take a picture of Kionna and I before she dropped me off, but she had some weird eye twitch and instead it just looks like she was crying and I thought it was a Kodak moment.
Anyway, it was a good Friday overall. It's nice to have friends that you don't have to try with- it's enough to just buy pizza and have a picnic and drink milkshakes and talk about dumb things with, and then come home feeling like you conquered the world.
I feel like as hard as things get sometimes, I have a pretty great teenage life. I get to have adventures and come home with a roof over my head. Sometimes bad things happen, but in the end, all they become are stories that you can tell, to teach a lesson, or to make someone stronger, or possibly create a hilarious television show with? Hm?
I love the last paragraph of this post! SO TRUE! :)
